A local man was taken to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle accident Saturday morning on Madisonville Road.
It happened about 2:20 a.m. and the report from Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Nichols says 24-year old Andre Matlock of Madisonville Road had been northbound when he ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Matlock was found outside his SUV and was unable to tell deputies what happened.
He was taken first to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and then to Skyline Medical Center, where he was listed Monday morning in critical condition.
Matlock was not wearing his seat belt, according to the report.
