The sounds of country music, laughter and cheers filled the James E. Bruce Convention Center Saturday evening for the Brice Long and Friends Concert, all in the name of helping families in need.
The concert raises money for the Back 2 Back Foundation, which country artist Long says will stay local to help up to 50 or so families in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties have a happy Christmas this year.
He says this fundraising concert only continues to grow, which means so has the effort—it started with only five families.
Attendees and sponsors filled the center to the brim to watch Long, Steve Warnier, Dillon Carmichael, Deric Ruttan and Phil O’Donnel, while also getting to bid on a slew of items at the silent auction tables. Items included gift cards, furniture, drums and guitars—including a guitar signed by Luke Combs.
