Three members of a family from the Evansville area were killed in a three-vehicle accident Friday morning on the Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County.

Coroner Scott Daniel identified the victims as 76-year old Douglas Euler, 46-year old Kimberly Haley and 25-year old Jennifer Hoffman. Euler’s wife was driving and Haley and Hoffman—Euler’s daughter and granddaughter—were in the back seat of the SUV.

Daniel says the SUV made contact with a tractor-trailer near the 3 mile-marker, rolled multiple times and was struck by a third vehicle.

Hoffman and Haley were pronounced dead at the scene and Euler died at the hospital.

The driver of the SUV was taken by EMS to a local hospital and then flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville with serious injuries.

An occupant of the third vehicle was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Daniel says the victims were on the way to Daytona, Florida and a vehicle carrying additional family members was traveling behind them. They did not witness the accident and didn’t recognize the vehicle as they drove through.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the crash.
