During a news conference today as the Tennessee Titans veterans report to training camp, offensive tackle Taylor Lewan again apologized for taking a banned substance and accepted full responsibility for his actions. Lewan will miss the first four games of the season, though he plans to appeal his suspension, saying that he is innocent.
Also speaking to the media was Kevin Byard, who signed a new contract with the Titans worth just over $70 million. Byard said the new deal hadn’t hit him yet and that it is a testament to hard work. He also added the process in getting the new deal was “nerve wracking”.
