One man was killed and another was critically injured in a shooting incident Wednesday night in Clarksville.
It happened about 9:30 p.m. at 1006 College, with Clarksville police saying there was a large group of people celebrating together when gunfire erupted.
Officers arrived to find 26-year old Eric Hardy lying on the parking lot with a gunshot wound and he later died from his injuries. It was learned a short time later that a 44-year old male victim had gone to the area of the 1000 block of Main Street and he was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Police say there was a mass exodus of people as officers arrived and they were not able to get a confirmed suspect or vehicle description from witnesses.
