Two arrested for trafficking in synthetic drugs

Members of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Violent Crimes Task Force arrested two men Wednesday on drug trafficking charges.

Investigators made a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by 21-year old Correon Hairston and 20-year old D’Shayvion Baker, according to a news release, which says a search revealed 449 THC cartridges and just over $2,200 in cash. Police say the cartridges have a street value of about $13,470.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with trafficking in synthetic drugs.
