MLB: Reds & Cardinals win, Cubs & Braves lose Tuesday

The Cincinnati Reds scored four in the first inning and five more in the fifth on their way to a 14-6 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. Eugenio Suarez went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI, Jesse Winker homered and Phillip Ervin hit a three-run triple as the Reds built up a 9-0 lead. The teams conclude the series this afternoon in Milwaukee.

Elsewhere in the National League: Paul Goldschmidt and Jose Martinez homered as the St. Louis Cardinals rallied past the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-3. The teams play again this evening in Pittsburgh.

Pablo Sandoval crushed a solo homer in the bottom of the 13th inning as the San Francisco Giants outlasted the Chicago Cubs 5-4. The teams wrap up their series this afternoon in San Francisco.

Interleague: The Kansas City Royals held off the Atlanta Braves 5-4 at Sun Trust Park. The teams conclude the two game series tonight
