The Hoptown Hoppers got their 25th win of the season Saturday night downing Owensboro 5-4 at Tiger Field.Michael Conn went 2-2 with a double and two RBI to lead the Hoppers with Greg Mehlhaff also adding two hits. Drew McGowan went six innings to get the pitching win with Brennan Crooms collecting the save. The Hoppers also completed a sweep of the season series with Owensboro winning 5-0.
The Hoppers now 25-12, are off Sunday before hosting Fulton in a makeup game Monday night at 7:05 with pregame at 6:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
