Unemployment was up slightly from May to June

Unemployment was up slightly from May to June in Kentucky.

The jobless rate was 4.1 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics, was up from the 4 percent reported for May.

It was down three tenths of a point of a point from the 4.4 percent recorded for the state in June.

The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for June was 3.7 percent, up one tenth of a point from May, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
