A woman was flown to an Evansville hospital following a wreck Wednesday afternoon in Princeton.
Princeton police investigated and determined 37-year old Jennifer Strait of Benton had been eastbound on US 62 in the area of Walmart when for unknown reasons she rear-ended another automobile operated by 79-year old Mary Jewell of Princeton.
Jewell’s vehicle went off the road, traveled about 600 feet and struck several trees before coming to rest off of the roadway.
Jewell had to be extricated and flown by Air Evac to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Strait was transported by ambulance to Caldwell County Medical Center, where she was admitted.
