A baby was injured when a living room ceiling collapsed at a home on Blane Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire and EMS personnel were called to the home just before 4:20 p.m. and determined the 1-month old was alert and conscious, according to Captain Michael Pendleton.
The baby was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for evaluation.
No one else was injured and Captain Pendleton says the cause of the ceiling collapse is unknown.
