The Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville continues to shape the lives of youth in the community and the public is invited to attend the Great Futures Luncheon and learn more about its impact.
The annual luncheon will take place July 24 at 11:30 a.m. at the Boys and Girls Club on South Walnut Street, and Executive Director Terrence Davis says it is all about celebrating the kids—of which they serve many—those who support them and what the club means to those who attend.
He says a capital campaign to raise money and build a cafeteria at the club continues, and people can still donate.
Students will speak at the luncheon about what the club means to them and how it has helped them focus on academics, expand their skills and look toward the future. It is open to the public and Davis encourages everyone to attend.
