A man who allegedly poured bleach on a woman at the Manhattan Motel Sunday was arrested.
An arrest citation for 31-year old David Lee Colgin of Hopkinsville says he was in the apartment of the female victim when she arrived home, despite him being previously warned by police to stay away.
The victim told police Colgin pushed her onto the bed and poured a bottle of bleach over her. The victim grabbed a glass wine bottle and struck Colgin on the head, causing him to flee the scene.
Colgin was located by officers on East Sixth Street and claimed the female had invited her to the apartment and that she has slipped in a puddle of bleach on the floor.
Police arrested Colgin and charged him with second-degree burglary.
