The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Oak Street Monday and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
According to a news release, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 600 Providence Boulevard. While responding, officers witnessed a male running from the location who may have possibly been shot. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a male victim in his 20’s who had sustained a gunshot wound on Oak Street.
Multiple shell casings were found at the scene and a white Ford F-150 was seen fleeing the scene, with multiple occupants inside it. The victim was transported to a Nashville hospital for treatment.
