The St. Louis Cardinals say Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. News of Gibson’s cancer diagnosis was reported over the weekend. The 83-year-old was inducted into Cooperstown in 1981 and his number 45 was retired by the Cardinals in 1975.
