Concrete repair work on I-24 East in Trigg and Lyon County has concluded and there will be lane restrictions on the westbound side beginning Monday.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinets says the westbound work zone lane restrictions will be from the 65 mile-marker at the US 68 interchange to the 57 mile-marker.
During this round of work, all westbound I-24 traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane. This work zone will be set up in about seven to eight-mile segments along the work area. The work area will continue to move westward toward the KY 293 Eddyville Exit 45 interchange.
This work zone along I-24 westbound is expected to be in place through about August 15.
