Madisonville Road will be restricted to one lane just north of Hopkinsville to allow for bridge work.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the rehabilitation work will begin Wednesday on the North Fork Little River Bridge, which is about a half mile north of the Bypass.
Motorists should be prepared to encounter one-lane-traffic with alternating flow controlled by an automated signal. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Work on the bridge should be completed by October 10.
