The Cleveland Indians matched their season highs with 18 hits and nine for extra-bases in routing the Cincinnati Reds 11-1 Sunday. The Reds are off for the All Star Break and return to action Friday night at the Colorado Rockies.
In other Interleague action: The Chicago White Sox got by the Chicago Cubs 3-1 Sunday.
National League: San Francisco edged St. Louis 1-0 and Atlanta slid by Miami 4-3.
Cincinnati Reds pitcher Sonny Gray is going to the All-Star Game tomorrow night in Cleveland. He replaces Max Scherzer, who pulled out with back stiffness, on the NL roster. Gray is 5-and-5 with a 3.59 ERA in 17 starts.
