2018 Hoptown Hopper MJ Rookard signed his first professional contract this weekend with the Gary Southshore Railcats of the American Association. The Douglasville, GA native played collegiately for Middle Georgia State University. He hit .312 with four home runs and 34 RBI in 40 games for the Hoppers last season.
