Fire caused significant damage to Ferrell’s Snappy Service on South Main Street in Hopkinsville late Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Captain Michael Pendleton spoke to WHOP News at the scene and said the two employees in the building were able to escape unharmed.
The fire was quickly contained, but there was significant damage.
It wasn’t immediately known how long Ferrell’s will be closed by the blaze. The Madisonville Ferrell’s location just reopened last month after a fire that did severe damage there in September of last year.
Ferrell’s Snappy Service is one of Hopkinsville’s most iconic businesses and has been featured in national and international publications and television shows.
