Elsewhere in the OVL last night: Muhlenberg County swept Fulton in a doubleheader 7-5 and 5-3, Franklin edged Dubois County 7-6 and Paducah thumped Owensboro 18-7 in 7 innings.
Tonight in the OVL: Franklin goes to Owensboro, Paducah plays at Henderson and Fulton entertains Madisonville.
OVL Standings: The Hoppers continue to lead the OVL West at 14-10 with Paducah a half game back at 13-10, Fulton is third at 11-12 and Madisonville is 8-14.
Owensboro still tops the OVL East at 14-7, Henderson at 12-10 is 2 ½ games back, Dubois County is 12-11, Franklin is 10-13 and Muhlenberg County is 7-14.
