A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night in an accident near the state line on I-24 in Montgomery County.
It happened between the 1 and 2 mile-markers on the eastbound side at about 10 p.m., according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Investigators say 24-year old Brandon Casey Nicol of Clarksville went into an uncontrolled skid for an unknown reason and his Harley Davidson exited the left side of the interstate. Nicol was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is asking for anyone who may have witnessed the accident or events leading up to the accident to call them at 615-741-2060.
