Former Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen died this afternoon at the age of 38. According to a statement released by Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio, the family will release arrangements in the next few days and offered thanks for prayers and concern. Lorenzen was hospitalized with heart and kidney issues last week. Following his UK career, Lorenzen played in the NFL and won a Super Bowl championship while with the New York Giants.
