A woman and two children were hospitalized following a single-vehicle accident Sunday night on East Ninth Street.
It happened about 10:40 p.m. and the report from Hopkinsville police says 57-year old Jaqueline Dillard of Hopkinsville had been headed east when she hit the curb in front of 1713 East Ninth, causing her to lose control of her SUV.
Dillard said she accidentally pressed the gas instead of the brake at that time, which sent her into two mailboxes and eventually into a utility pole.
Dillard and two juvenile passengers were taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for minor injuries.
