Fireworks will go on as planned on the 4th of July at Lake Barkley State Park, but the beach will be closed until 5 p.m. and guests will not be allowed in the water.
That’s according to a Facebook post on the park’s account, which says the fireworks will go off at about 9 p.m.
Officials say no swimming will be allowed due to flooding issues.
