A water main break has caused a boil water advisory to be issued for a large portion of southern Todd County.
The Todd County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for 8000-to-11500 Guthrie Road, 0-to-2600 Dixie Beeline Highway,4600-to-9400 Dixie Beeline Highway, Lester Chapel Road, Dogwood Lane, Chester Stahl Road, Campbell Road, 1900-to-4800 Hammacksville Road, 5000-to-6200 Clarksville Road, Big Pond Road, Watts Road, Tutt Road, 1300-to-4000 Cemetery Road, Mimms Road, Adams Road, R. Luttrell Lane, 2000-to-8000 Tress Shop Road, Smith Road, Bells Chapel Road, Dickerson Road, 3000-to-8400 Davis Mill Road, 4000-to-6500 Old Trenton Road, and Dickinson Quarry Road.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice. Drinking water in those areas should be allowed to boil for three minutes before use.
