A child was treated for minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Princeton Monday afternoon on South Jefferson Street.
According to a news release from the Princeton Police Department, a vehicle operated by 36-year old Sheena Harris of Princeton was traveling north on South Jefferson when 9-year old Chandler Reiser reportedly ran into the road.
Investigation determined that Reiser had been chasing after a dog. Harris attempted to swerve to avoid striking him, but was unable to do so due to another vehicle occupying the southbound lane. Reiser was struck in the arm, causing minor injuries. He was transported to Caldwell Medical Center where he was treated and released.
