Motorcyclist and passenger injured in collision with deer

A motorcyclist and his passenger were injured after they struck a deer on Gracey-Herndon Road on Wednesday of last week.

The report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department says 56-year old John Freeman of Cadiz was southbound when the deer entered his path and the collision occurred.

Freeman lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a ditch, sending him and his passenger—16-year old Laurie Freeman—to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

They were both wearing a helmet, according to the report.
