Glasgow native Whitney Young is beginning duties as the new women’s coach at the University of Louisville today. Young had been on staff at U of L the last two years and replaces Courtney Trimble, who announced her retirement earlier this year. Wade played for and was an assistant coach at the University of Georgia before coming to Louisville and had one of the most stellar amateur careers in Kentucky beginning in the fourth grade at Glasgow High.
