Several area organizations are partnering on a ‘Hopkinsville Bingo’ project.
The Downtown Renaissance District, Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville and the Pennyroyal Arts Council have joined together for ‘Hopkinsville Bingo: Summer in the City.’
It begins Monday and continues through July 31.
A news release says the program provides an opportunity for participants to engage in all things downtown Hopkinsville, from a walk on the labyrinth to a purchase at the farmers market. The bingo cards will be available for pick up at the library, museum and Alhambra Theatre.
Game instructions are on the back of each bingo card and there will be three chances to win prizes. Participants may complete a line vertically, diagonally or complete a coverall to be entered to win a grand prize. All bingo cards are to be placed into the card barrel located in the front lobby of the library. Cards must be turned in by August 2 and winners will be drawn on, August 3 at the Hopkinsville Downtown Farmers Market.
Downtown Renaissance Director Holly Boggess is quoted as saying, “We are excited to collaborate with such great community partners for providing this self-guided discovery of Downtown Hopkinsville.”
