The Hoptown Hoppers used a five run sixth inning to pull away and defeat the Madisonville Miners 10-7 last night at Elmer Kelley Stadium. The Hoppers had 13 hits, with Micah Genter going 4-5 and Santrel Farmer went 3-5. Ben Huber had two hits including a home run with Jacob Jenkins and Greg Mehlhaff adding two hits, one of which was a double.
Cam Barlow pitched five innings in getting his league best fourth win of the season with Brennan Crooms collecting a save. The Hoppers road tour continues tonight at Franklin.
