Hopkinsville woman flown to Skyline following crash

A two-car collision Tuesday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard sent a Hopkinsville woman to a Nashville hospital.

It happened about 12:40 p.m. and the report from city police says 31-year old David Stokes of Hopkinsville was turning south onto Fort Campbell Boulevard from Max Fuel Express when 46-year old Melissa Taylor of Hopkinsville attempted to turn north from McCoy Drive.

The front passenger side of Stokes’ car collided with the front driver’s side wheel of Taylor’s vehicle.

Taylor was flown by Air Evac to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Stokes complained of shoulder pain, but refused an ambulance trip to the hospital. Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
