The woman struck by lightning on the main campus of Murray State University about 5:45 p.m. Sunday has died from her injuries.
That’s according to WPSD TV story, which quotes a Murray State University spokesperson who says the woman was bringing a child to participate in a summer program on campus when the incident happened.
The woman was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital after being struck by lightning during one of several rounds of severe weather that hit western Kentucky over the weekend.
