Woman served with warrants, charged with meth possession

A woman sought on four warrants is facing new charges following her arrest Monday night.

Hopkinsville Police Officer Gary Hicks conducted a traffic stop that ended at 1806 South Main Street about 9 p.m. and found 21-year old Haley Pool of Hopkinsville sitting inside a vehicle parked in the driveway.

Pool was arrested on four warrants for probation violation, as she had failed to enter a required drug treatment program.

A search of the vehicle at the time of the arrest allegedly revealed two bags of methamphetamine, a syringe and prescription medication. Pool was charged with possession of meth, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
