Vanderbilt loses game one of the College World Series final to Michigan

Michigan stands one win away from winning the National Championship for the first time since 1962 after defeating Vanderbilt 7-4 in game one of the College World Series Championship last night in Omaha. J.J. Bleday hit his 27th homer of the season in the sixth for Vandy. Drake Fellows surrendered four runs on seven hits in five and two thirds, losing only his second decision of the season for the Commodores. Game two of the best of three series is tonight.
