It’s Pennyrile Electric Day at the Western Kentucky State Fair.
Members can use the coupon they received with the recent Kentucky Living magazine to get in the fair free between 4 and 6 p.m. and Brent Gilkey says the annual meeting begins at about 5:30 in the air-conditioned convention center.
Rides open at 5 p.m. and it will be an $18 armband night.
It’s another big night in the grandstand, with Preston Rives saying be there at 7 for go cart races.
The petting zoo will be open in the livestock pavilion, there will be a 4H-FFA rabbit and poultry show at 6 and the 4H-FFA-Homemakers exhibits open in the back of the convention center.
2,522 people attended the fair Monday, bringing the four-day total to 11,246.
