Driver fatigue is listed as a factor in an accident Monday morning on Means Avenue that sent a local woman to the hospital.
It happened a few minutes before 7:30 a.m., according to the report from Hopkinsville Public Safety Officer Cassidy Woods, which says 21-year old Zariah Gillies of Hopkinsville was westbound on Means when she fell asleep at the wheel.
Her car veered in to a parked vehicle at 127 Means and then struck a fence.
Gillies was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
