The Hoptown Hoppers lost to the Fulton Railroaders 2-1 in the first game of a scheduled doubleheader Sunday at Tiger Field. The Railroaders scored their two runs in the first and third, while the Hoppers got within a run in the bottom of the 7th and had the bases loaded before Ben Huber fouled out to end the game.The Hoppers had just four hits in the game while Fulton had two. Hunter Crosby took the pitching loss for the Hoppers.
Game two was rained out and will be made up at a later date. The Hoppers are back in action tomorrow night at Madisonville.
