The Bowling Green Hot Rods fell to 1-1 in the second half of the Midwest League season and 40-32 overall in a 1-0 loss at South Bend. The Hot Rods and Cubs play game three of the series this evening.
The Nashville Sounds ended a four game losing streak with a 6-5 win over the New Orleans Baby Cakes last night. The Sounds scored three times in the ninth to get the win. The teams square off again this evening .
