Princeton’s Emma Talley failed to make the cut at the Women’s PGA Championship at Hazeltine National in Chaska, MN. Talley had a second round 73 and a two day total of 150. Hannah Green at seven under has a three shot lead going into today’s third round.
On the PGA Tour: Zach Sucher at 11 under par has a two shot lead on Chez Reavie and Keegan Bradley going into the third round of the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, CT. Lexington’s Josh Teater and Louisville area native Justin Thomas are tied for 36th at four under par, Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker and former UK golfer Chip McDaniel stand at three under and are tied for 47th. Campbellsville native JB Holmes missed the cut.
PGA Tour Champions: Jerry Kelly at seven under 65 has a one shot lead over David Frost heading into the second round of the American Family Insurance Championship in Madison, WI. Franklin’s Kenny Perry is tied for 25th at two under par.
