The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans milling and paving along a section of US 41 in northern Christian County starting Tuesday.
According to a news release, milling and asphalt paving along US 41 will run from milepoint 15 at the end of the 4-lane section just north of the KY 1682 Bypass extending northward through the Crofton community to the Christian-Hopkins County Line at milepoint 31, which is about 16 miles.
Motorists should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers during daylight hours. Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
The contractor plans to work during daylight hours Monday through Saturday anytime weather allows. However, the contractor will not be working on July 4.
