The Ohio Valley League has released the statistical leaders for hitting and pitching.
Hitting: Hoptown Hopper Jacob Jenkins from WKU is third in the league in hitting with a .442 average. Jenkins is also fifth in the league in hits with 17.
Hopper outfielder Drew McGowan is tied for fourth in stolen bases with nine.
Pitching: WKU signee Lane Diuguid is second in the OVL in earned run average with a 0.96 ERA, with Cam Barlow from Louisiana-Monroe fourth at 1.69.
Barlow also leads the league in wins with three and his 3-0 record has him with the best winning percentage at 1.000. Barlow is also first in the league in strikeouts with 25 with Lane Diuguid second with 24. Brennan Crooms is tied for second in saves with two.
The Hoppers are back in action this evening in the first of a two game road trip at Muhlenberg County.
