Princeton’s Emma Talley had an opening round 77 at the Women’s PGA Championship at Hazeltine National in Chaska, MN Thursday. Hannah Green at four under 68 has a one shot lead over Mel Reid and Hyo Joo Kim heading into today’s second round.
On the PGA Tour, six players are tied for the lead at six under 64 following the first round of the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, CT. Kentuckians Justin Thomas, Josh Teater and Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker all had two under 68 Thursday with Chip McDaniel and JB Holmes at one under 69.
