Louisville held off Auburn 5-3 in completion of their elimination game at the College World Series Wednesday in Omaha. Louisville faces Mississippi State in an elimination game tonight. The Bulldogs were doubled up by Vanderbilt 6-3 also on Wednesday.
Winner’s bracket play saw Texas Tech defeat Florida State 4-1 in the final game of Seminoles coach Mike Martin’s career. Texas Tech meets Michigan Friday.
