Jenkins’ 10th inning home run gives Hoppers win at Fulton

Western Kentucky’s Jacob Jenkins broke a 5-5 tie with a home run in the top of the 10th inning as the Hoptown Hoppers edged Fulton 6-5 last night at Lohaus Field.

The home run was one of two the Hoppers had in the game as Cameron Hill also homered. Jenkins and Drew McGowan each had two hits for the Hoppers with Brennan Crooms in relief of starter Will Nash getting the win and Chandler Kendall picking up the save.

The Hoppers are off this evening before hosting Fulton in the second game of the series tomorrow night at Tiger Field. First pitch is at 7:05, with pregame at 6:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and online at whopam.com.
