Bellarmine University announced today its plans to move to Division One sports. The Louisville school will become a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference and begin play in the league in the 2020-21 season. Bellarmine University president Susan Donovan:
Current members of the Atlantic Sun include Lipscomb University, Jacksonville University and North Florida along with Florida Gulf Coast. Bellarmine is currently a Division Two school and play in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
