Hoppers get back on winning ways in routing Franklin

The Hoptown Hoppers used a seven run fifth inning to run rule the Franklin Duelers 13-3 last night in Franklin. Chandler Kendall went 4-5 with three RBI, Ben Huber went 3-4 with five RBI and Greg Melhaff hit a grand slam home run in the game. Micah Genter and Jacob Jenkins also had two hits each in the win.Clay Simpson went five innings, allowing three hits, two runs, one earned and struck out four in getting the pitching win.

The Hoppers are now 9-4 on the season and are back in action tomorrow night at Fulton.
