The Hoptown Hoppers saw their seven game win streak end last night as Muhlenberg County won 6-2 at Tiger Field.
The Hoppers led 2-0 after the first inning, but the Stallions tied it in the second, scored twice in the fourth and twice in the seventh to get just their third win of the season. Hoppers coach Grayson Crawford said following the game it was a disappointing loss:
Drew McGowan and Charlie Fischer each had two hits in defeat with Wyatt Stevenson suffering his first pitching loss of the season. The Hoppers are now 8-4 and play at Franklin at 6 pm this evening.
