The Hoptown Hoppers won their sixth consecutive game downing Madisonville 10-2 last night at Tiger Field. The Miners took an early 2-0 lead but the Hoppers scored five times in the bottom of the third, added four more runs in the fifth and one in the sixth to get the win. Seth Bennett and Wyatt Stevenson each added two hits, with Hunter Crosby striking out 10 in getting the pitching win. Coach Grayson Crawford offered comments on the win:
