Rose has one stroke lead at US Open

Justin Rose is alone atop the leaderboard after the first-round of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. Rose fired a six-under 65 to take a one stroke lead. He says there’s still plenty of golf to play:

Rickie Fowler, Aaron Wise, Xander Schauffele and Louis Oosthuizen are tied for second place at five-under. Scott Piercy and Nate Lashley are one shot back at minus-four. Three-time winner Tiger Woods opened up with a one-under 70, while Phil Mickelson carded a plus-one. Campbellsville native JB Holmes is also at one over 72 with Louisville area native Justin Thomas two over and Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker at four over.
